For some students, regular public schools offer
the best option for an educational program, combined with
extracurricular activities offered in the larger public school
setting. These are usually
high school students whose needs and gifts include athletics, band or
extracurricular activities not available in HCYR's smaller on-campus
charter schools. We are fortunate to have a public school
system in our area that is committed to quality education and has a
wide array of extra-curricular programs.
The Ingram Independent School District is
composed of about l,500 students, K-12, located on three nearby
campuses. District schools have an excellent academic reputation.
This gives Youth Ranch students an abundance of options,
so that there is a school program tailor-made for each
one.
