A Child and a Year In the face of mostly invasion and pain, how could it remain apparent That a loving intention had made us be? Who can blame you for wanting to leave before harvest? Somewhere in the waters of a well-known pool floats an instruction that leads to light. Somewhere a metaphor to manage the loose ends and harness the glare of early understanding. Though danger lurks, the intention persists . . . to let things move around and grow and run down . . . and start over again so that it might become apparent in this mysterious dance that sunlight and seasons return. by Gary Priour |
