On September 15, 1986, a very smart but confused young woman came to live at the Ranch hoping to sort things out and start over.

On March 31, 2001, Angela Moreno Tijerina walked back in to the Youth Ranch office to become the Ranch’s Director of Development and lead a new era of taking our cause to the world.

In 1986, Angela gave up the freedom and the fears of the runaway to become reinvolved in her own development, returning to school to study and prepare herself for fulfilling her destiny.

On March 31, Angela came back to become involved with the destiny of the Youth Ranch, returning to lend support to the dream of an expanding program for more children on two campuses.

In 1986, Angela achieved membership in the National Honor Society and secured a place on the Ingram Tom Moore debate team, becoming one of the school’s brightest stars.

On March 31, Angela left the security of corporate America and a position well up the proverbial ladder, to take a serious cut in pay and return to a place she loves to lend it her strength and help it grow.

In 1987, Angela went back into the world to find family and work and begin a new life.

On March 31, she returned home to bring her family and give her life to the work of saving others.

In 1987, Angela left her nest to spread her wings and fly.

On March 31, the eagle landed back home.
