Emelia M. Hopper Aquatics Center

The Ranch's indoor swimming pool is a full-size Junior Olympic heated pool equipped to host both leisure and structured aquatic activities.   Competitions, including the Junior Pan-American swim meet, have been held here, and the American Red Cross uses the pool to train area lifeguards. 

Most important,  Ranch residents learn swimming skills from beginning to advanced.  They can come for leisure time, join a competitive swim team, or sign up for a synchronized swimming class with one of the area professionals who give time for teaching.  It is a goal of the HCYR swimming program to teach basic swimming to every resident.
