Bee Creek Stables and Riding Arena

Barns and riding arenas have been built on both campuses.  The Bee Creek Stables and Riding Arena (shown in photos to right) are clearly the showplaces of HCYR's horsemanship program.  With 18 horses of varied ages and abilities, a year-round program of grooming, riding and learning about the care of horses is in place, under the stewardship of BSRC Director of Ranch Operations, Michael Priour.

Operating since 1978, the horse program is a cornerstone of Ranch life, and a key to many a child's motivation.  Children form loving attachments with the animals.  In addition to the basics, beginner and advanced classes are offered in English and Western Horsemanship.
