Outdoor Playgrounds and Sports Fields

Sports fields and outdoor recreation areas for leisure and competitive use by residents are spread throughout both campuses.  These include baseball fields, soccer and football fields, picnic areas and playgrounds.

Also, after many years of effort by summer work crews, a network of hiking trails leading to quiet and scenic spots on the forested hillsides has been developed.  Finally, several camping spots are designated for retreats, when a special experience is needed to get away, or to build and trust in a family group.
