Experiential Therapy -- Healing in Action

"Children need to explore life in a playful, non-threatening and adventure-oriented manner."   -- Michael Priour, BSRC Recreation Director

Experiential therapies, based in adventure and play, have always been part of Ranch life.  From swimming in a local river, to climbing Colorado mountains, to riding horses through the ranch valley, children develop ability and knowledge through personal experience, foster healthy values and attitudes, and open pathways to a better life.

It's a proven formula.  Trauma is stored in the human body and mind in ways that influence daily behavior.  Destructive behavior patterns need healthy replacements.   Recreation provides life-changing experience through adventure, challenge, exercise and play.
