Hill Country Youth Ranch is home for over 2000 alumni since opening in 1977. Whether they were with us for a month, a year, or 10 years, every resident becomes an automatic member of the HCYR Alumni Association, entitling them to apply, regardless of age, for one of HCYR’s college scholarships, emergency financial aid and for other benefits, such as coming for stays at the Alumni Retreat House or attending reunions.

We are always grateful when our alumni return with their own spouses and children, pointing out exactly where they lived, where they worked on a landscape project, where they caught a big fish, or where they learned to swim. We are grateful to be a place where our alumni found acceptance, guidance, encouragement.
