The holiday season is here and every year we try to make the best experience for the children at HCYR. Family dinners, opening presents, and festive holiday activities are all part of helping them heal and replacing bad memories with good ones. This Tuesday is #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving that kicks off the holiday giving season. As always, Texans have been generous in their support for victims of disasters in our state. Meanwhile back at the ranch, this has been one of the more difficult years for our organization. Giving to the Youth Ranch is down 10% this year. We're asking all our friends to please consider a gift during this holiday season, starting with #GivingTuesday, to help us end the year well. We've set a goal to raise $25,000 on #GivingTuesday. All gift proceeds go directly to our Children's Fund which provides daily necessities for our children, staff salaries and enrichment programs such as fun holiday activities to help our children flourish.
